Tom as an artist has a very inquisitive mind and is always looking for ways to use light and shade. His work is unique and Tom will experiment with many products until he reaches his desired goal. We purchased his work because his talent is obvious, and his work fits in to the decor of a modern or traditional home. We always get compliments on the quality of his work when friends come over for dinner, and I think that speaks volumes about how accomplished he is as an artist.

I purchased a painting from Tom Ansell in November 2015. The painting is a yacht scene in Busselton. I purchased it as a gift for my partner. The painting is something special. Beautiful tones of colour that capture the feel on the water...Tom produces beautiful pieces and we hope to add to this one one day. Thank you Tom. Regards Karen and Jose.

I was in the Lava Art Glass Gallery & Studio doing a lead lighting course with Brenda when Tom came in with a drawing that he just had framed. While he was chatting with Brenda I had a good look at the drawing and loved the way he had captured the old boat with the lazy motion of the water through the moorings. I asked if it was for sale and it now hangs on my lounge room wall, very much appreciated.
